MEMBERSHIP

When you join Forn Siðr, you are immediately recognized as actually embracing true Norse culture and being part of a group of men following their true ancestral path. Your membership also confirms that you have reached an essential level of understanding and knowledge of our ancestral beliefs, our identity, and our history.

Because Forn Siðr is registered in Norway as a religious NGO and recognized as such by the state, you are furthermore automatically granted constitutional protection for your beliefs, including under the First Amendment of the United States Constitution, or Section 2(a) of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

Your membership level is determined at the time you apply for membership, or upon renewal of your membership. Lifetime memberships are automatically updated upon reaching a higher membership level.

BASIC MEMBERSHIP

Prerequisites: Successful completion of the Forneskja course.

Understanding of and agreement with Mannskapr (Masculinity).

Privileges: Basic resources and support related to our culture.

SILVER MEMBERSHIP

Prerequisites: Holding the rank of Hirðmaðr or above in Úlfaherr with valid Herstal.

Application of basic concepts of Mannskapr (Masculinity).

Privileges: May act as Messenger (subject to conditions).

GOLD MEMBERSHIP

Prerequisites: Having demonstrated significant commitment to our beliefs.

Demonstration of the fundamentals of Mannskapr (Masculinity).

Privileges: Representation at the Þing (Governing Assembly).

All membership levels also comes with a high resolution PDF certificate that can be downloaded to your mobile device. As we move forward, we will also be adding more member resources, discounts, and events for you and your whole family (while membership in Forn Siðr is only open to males, women and children are welcome to share the culture).

If this is your initial membership application, you must first complete the Forneskja course. If you have already completed the Forneskja course you can directly get or renew your membership now!
